• Lasso:

Lasso was launched by Facebook in the year 2018 on iOS and Android. It is much similar to Tik Tok. Like Tik Tok, it also allows its users to share short videos. This Application was launched majorly with teenagers as its targeted audience. This app is only available in USA and Latin America as of now and it has built up a userbase of around 70,000 Americans. The main difference between Lasso and Tik Tok is the audience size and demographics. The userbase of Tik Tok is much higher than that of Lasso. Also, Tik Tok is available in almost every country, unlike Lasso. 

• Reddit:

Reddit was launched in the year 2005. Since then, it has been a famous Social Media Platform apart from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. This is mainly a community-based platform and based upon the interests of the users. The users can join the various communities which interest them. This has become very popular because of the vast information it offers in almost every field. It has been ranked as the third most widely used app in America after Facebook and YouTube. It has managed to build an active user base of around 300 million. 

• Tumblr:

Tumblr is another Social Media Platform that was founded in 2007. It also allows its users to post pictures, content, and videos. It is very popular for posting GIFs. This platform saw a rapid decline in its user base as Instagram started gaining more popularity. This platform has an active user base of around 300 million users.
